House Finch Visitation...FinallyI had mentioned in an earlier post that number of House Finches we get
here at our new home pales in comparison to where we lived before.
So, when we get one or two it is kind of a special occasion. We were lucky
enough to have a male and a female recently. Both looked free from Eye Disease
and ate there fill. Maybe they'll put us on there route and be back for another
meal.
The first day of the New Year brought a fresh cover of snow...Like starting off
2008 with a clean slate. Snow or even the forecast of it always brings out the birds
in full force. The Red Belly made a stop today as well as what I am pretty sure is a
White Throated Sparrow.
Keep counting the good count and may a new bird visit your feeder this week.
